Russell Wilson to sit out Thursday's preseason opener for Seattle
Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson will not play in Thursday's preseason opener.
As with most veteran quarterbacks, the Seahawks see no need to have Wilson trot out for a series or two versus the Denver Broncos on Thursday. Geno Smith will start with Paxton Lynch to see reps as well.
Our models project Wilson as the QB9 in fantasy this season with 3,488.4 passing yards, 29.8 passing touchdowns, 9.4 interceptions, 421.1 rushing yards, and 2.6 rushing touchdowns in 2019.
