Bears' Trey Burton (groin) not expected to play in preaseason
Chicago Bears tight end Trey Burton (groin) is not expected to play in any preseason games this year.
Burton had sports hernia surgery this offseason, and the Bears are taking it extremely cautious with the tight end. He has been held out of most practices this summer and will likely not see any game action as the coaching staff wants him ready for the season opener on September 5, just one month away.
Our models project Burton as the TE13 this season in fantasy with 45.1 catches, 496.2 yards, and 5.3 touchdowns on 69.5 targets in 2019.
