According to the Athletic, Pittsburgh Steelers running back Jaylen Samuels has been a "significant part of the offense" during training camp.
Samuels has reportedly been featured as a pass catcher who "can line up just about everywhere" and a versatile weapon that offensive coordinator Randy Fichtner wants to utilize. Expect the second-year back to played an increased role this upcoming season on passing downs and potentially two back formations with starter James Conner.
For the 2019-2020 season, our models project Samuels to produce 255.7 rushing yards and 1.7 touchdowns on 60.1 attempts and 25.4 receptions for 244.9 yards and 1.6 receiving touchdowns.
