Broncos reportedly signing Theo Riddick
The Denver Broncos are signing Theo Riddick, formerly of the Detroit Lions, reports Rob Demovsky of ESPN.
Riddick also received interest from the New Orleans Saints. He's the only running back in the NFL with at least 50 receptions in each of the past four seasons. However, his efficiency has waned, as Riddick has failed to average more than 7.0 yards per catch in two of the past three years. The 28-year-old could factor in on passing downs for Denver, but Phillip Lindsay and Royce Freeman are expected to dominate touches out of the backfield.
Riddick caught 61 passes (74 targets) for 384 scoreless yards last season. He also ran 40 times for 171 yards.
