The Denver Broncos are "feeling really good" about running back Royce Freeman, per Charles Robinson of Yahoo.
Robinson adds the Broncos are "hoping to finally establish the true split-touch situation" they planned for last season before Phillip Lindsay ran away with the job and then Freeman sprained his ankle mid-year. New offensive coordinator Rich Scangarello recently compared the duo to Devonta Freeman and Tevin Coleman, indicating both Freeman and Lindsay should see viable workloads in what figures to be a run-heavy offense.
Freeman is currently the RB38 in numberFire's preseason fantasy rankings. Lindsay is the RB23.
