A.J. Green to miss 'couple of games' for Bengals
Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green (ankle surgery) will miss regular season games, head coach Zac Taylor confirmed Tuesday.
Taylor is hopeful that Green won't miss more than a couple of games, but it's an ominous development for the veteran wideout. He turns 31 on Wednesday and has missed at least six games in two of the last three seasons.
Operating under the assumption Green returns in Week 3, numberFire's models expect him to catch 70.3 passes for 120.4 yards and 7.04 touchdowns on 120.4 targets in 2019. He's currently the WR18 in our preseason fantasy rankings.
