Panthers concerned about Christian McCaffrey's workload
Carolina Panthers offensive coordinator Norv Turner is "concerned" about running back Christian McCaffrey's usage last season.
Turner added that McCaffrey's snap count could decrease as the team manages his workload, rather than touch totals. McCaffrey logged 326 touches last season and played nearly every single offensive snap until Week 17. Despite Turner's worries, McCaffrey is in line for another bell-cow role in 2019.
McCaffrey is the RB3 in numberFire's preseason fantasy rankings. Our models expect him to rush 224.1 times for 1,176.2 yards and 7.66 touchdowns, with 102.5 receptions for 879.1 yards and 5.83 touchdowns this season.
