The Dallas Cowboys have signed free agent running back Alfred Morris.
Morris was scheduled to visit the Saints but opted to sign with a familiar team in Dallas. Morris played for the ‘Boys two seasons ago when Ezekiel Elliott was suspended. He did well enough for Dallas to bring back the 30-year-old as Zeke insurance. His signing also may signal that Dallas is prepared for a long holdout from Elliott.
Morris rushed for 428 yards and 2 touchdowns last season with the San Francisco 49ers.
