49ers' Jerick McKinnon (knee) suffers minor setback
San Francisco 49ers running back Jerick McKinnon (knee) will start training camp on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list after suffering a "flare-up" in his surgically repaired knee.
McKinnon tore his ACL in training camp last year, forcing him to sit out the entire season. He appears to be nearly 100% despite experiencing the minor setback in his knee a couple of weeks ago. The Niners are expectedly taking it easy with the back to start camp this season.
Our models project McKinnon for 416.7 rushing yards, 133.8 receiving yards, and 3.1 total touchdowns in 2019.
