Cowboys' Ezekiel Elliott reportedly planning camp holdout
Profootballtalk.com reports that Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott has "privately said that he will hold out of training camp unless he gets a new contract."
Elliott has two years remaining on his rookie deal but just like Melvin Gordon, he believes he needs a pay raise. With the workload the Cowboys put on Zeke, it makes sense the running back wants to re-work his deal. With training camp starting next week, we will see if the validity of the rumors are true, very soon
Our models project Elliott as the number-two back in fantasy for 2019 with 2,067.2 total yards and 14.7 touchdowns.
