Los Angeles Chargers running back Melvin Gordon's agent said there is a "strong possibility" his client will hold out into the season barring a new contract or trade.
Gordon is currently scheduled to earn $5.6 million in 2019, the final year of his rookie contract. He said he will demand a trade and skip training camp if he does not receive a new contract.
If Gordon plays in 2019, our models project to him to rush for 1,120.48 yards and 11.05 touchdowns, while also catching 63.29 passes for 598.50 yards and 3.43 touchdowns.
