49ers' DuJuan Harris effective in Week 17 spot start
San Francisco 49ers running back DuJuan Harris rushed 16 times for 67 yards and caught 8-of-12 targets for 86 yards in Sunday's Week 17 win over the St. Louis Rams.
Filling in for the IR'd Shaun Draughn, Harris piled up chunk plays as the primary checkdown target of quarterback Blaine Gabbert. Harris outplayed rookie Mike Davis and put some good things on tape. Harris has bounced around the league, his whole career, and especially in 2015. He'll likely enter some team's training camp fighting for a depth running back job in 2016.
Harris' performance generated 6.34 Net Expected Points for the 49ers in Week 17, per live.numberfire.com. This was the second-most among running backs.
