Carolina's Cam Newton (shoulder) 'slated to be a full participant' at the start of the training camp
Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton (shoulder) is "slated to be a full participant" when training camp begins.
Newton threw during mini-camp and remains on track to participate fully in training camp drills. Expect the Panthers' franchise quarterback to rebound in 2019-2020 as long as he can stay healthy.
For 2019 season, our models project Newton to produce 329.8 completions for 3.857.8 yards and 26.8 touchdowns and rush for 554.9 yards and 5.7 touchdowns.
