St. Louis Rams running back Todd Gurley (foot) is listed as doubtful for Week 17.
What It Means:
Gurley was in a walking boot Thursday and didn't practice all week. The Rams will rest him for a meaningless Week 17 game. Despite making only 12 starts, Gurley rushed for 1,106 yards and 10 touchdowns his first year in head coach Jeff Fisher's run-heavy scheme. Backups Tre Mason and Benny Cunningham will form a committee against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 17.
Mason has generated -15.09 Total Net Expected Points this season, the 64th-most among the 68 running backs with at least 75 opportunities through Week 16.
