Buffalo places Robert Woods (groin) on injured reserve
Buffalo Bills receiver Robert Woods has been placed on injured reserve (IR) with a groin injury, ending his season.
Linebacker Randell Johnson (high-ankle sprain) has also been sent to IR. It was a disappointing season for 2013 second-rounder Woods, who caught only 47 passes for 552 yards and three touchdowns despite spending the majority of the year as the Bills' No. 2 wideout. Woods cleared 60 yards in a game only twice. With the Bills likely to retain a low-volume passing attack for 2016, Woods won't have much fantasy value in the final year of his rookie contract.
Among the 67 receivers with at least 75 targets this season, Woods ranks 54th in Reception Net Expected Points per target.
