Cowboys lose Gavin Escobar to a torn Achilles'
Dallas Cowboys tight end Gavin Escobar tore his right Achilles' tendon in Saturday night's Week 15 loss to the New York Jets and is done for the year.
What It Means:
As the injury occurred so late in the season, Escobar will be a candidate to begin 2016 on the Cowboys' Physically Unable to Perform list.
The 47th overall pick in the 2013 draft, Escobar managed just eight receptions as a third-year pro behind Jason Witten.
