Bryce Brown expected to get first crack in Seahawks' backfield

Seattle Seahawks running back Bryce Brown is expected to get the first crack at lead back work, according to Scout.com's Rob Rang.

What It Means:

Rang is a longtime Seattle insider and anticipates that the Seahawks will use a "hot hand" approach against the Cleveland Browns in Week 15. He conceded this is merely his "educated guess," and he foresees the Seahawks using "multiple backs," with Brown getting the "first opportunity," and if Brown "performs as expected, he'll get the bulk of the carries, including near the goal line." Brown has high upside in a plus matchup against a weak Cleveland run defense. Rang stated projecting Derrick Coleman or Christine Michael for more than five touches would be "risky."

The Seahawks running game gets a mouth-watering matchup in Week 15. The Browns rank 31st in Adjusted Defensive Rushing Net Expected Points per play. We project Brown for 60 rushing yards and 0.32 touchdowns.
