Ben Watson signs one-year deal with New England
Free agent tight end Benjamin Watson has signed a one-year deal with the defending champion New England Patriots.
Watson, 38, most recently played with the New Orleans Saints last season, and the veteran continues to chug along as a valued pass catcher and blocker. There's obviously a gaping hole at the position with the retirement of Rob Gronkowski, and Watson could be another wily vet that ends up pushing the Pats towards another Super Bowl run.
In 16 games this season, Watson has 35 catches, 400 yards, two touchdowns and 52 FanDuel points.
