Broncos' Ronnie Hillman (foot) will start against Raiders
Denver Broncos running back Ronnie Hillman (foot) will start Sunday against the Oakland Raiders.
Denver coach Gary Kubiak said Hillman looked "fine" after returning to practice on Friday. With C.J. Anderson still battling a sore ankle, Hillman will be the lead back with Juwan Thompson playing a change-of-pace role. Hillman was limited to 26 yards on eight touches when he faced Oakland back in Week 6.
Hillman currently ranks just 59th in Total Net Expected Points (NEP) among running backs with at least 60 opportunities through Week 13. The Denver running game gets a nice matchup in Week 14 against the Raiders, who sit 27th in Adjusted Defensive Rushing NEP per play.
