The Houston Texans agreed to terms with defensive back Bradley Roby, formerly of the Denver Broncos, on a 1-year, $10 million contract, reports James Palmer of NFL Network.
The Texans added Roby and Tashaun Gipson to the secondary on Tuesday after losing multiple pieces early on in free agency. The 2014 first-round pick said he turned down a 3-year deal from the Pittsburgh Steelers and a 1-year offer from the San Francisco 49ers, adding that the Cleveland Browns also expressed interest. Roby has played every season in Denver and became a full-starter last season.
Roby recorded 45 tackles (40 solo), 1 interception, 12 pass deflections, and 2 forced fumbles over 15 games in 2018.
