Chris Polk leads Texans in carries, yards
Houston Texans running back Chris Polk rushed 12 times for 61 yards and caught his lone target for an 11-yard touchdown in the Texans' Week 13 loss to the Buffalo Bills.
One week after Alfred Blue led the Texans' committee with 17 carries, Polk operated as the lead back while Jonathan Grimes (seven touches), Blue (four touches), and Akeem Hunt (two touches) mixed in behind him.
Polk turned his 12 attempts into 1.34 Rushing Net Expected Points, and he added 2.27 Reception NEP on his one target. It's hard to trust any of the Texans' backs, but they do have a nice matchup in Week 14 against the New England Patriots, who rank 23rd in Adjusted Defensive Rushing NEP per play.
