49ers' Vance McDonald heads to locker room with possible concussion
San Francisco 49ers tight end Vance McDonald exited Week 13 against the Chicago Bears with a head injury.
He fell hard at the end of a 12-yard catch in the second quarter. McDonald headed to the locker room to be evaluated for a concussion. Blake Bell is the only other healthy tight end on the roster. McDonald is officially questionable to return, which suggests he passed the concussion tests in the locker room.
Per live.numberfire.com, McDonald had accumulated 1.98 Net Expected Points for the 49ers before exiting the game.
