Drew Brees inactive for Saints in Week 17
New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees will not play on Sunday in the team's Week 17 game against the Carolina Panthers.
Brees wasn't going to start anyways with Teddy Bridgewater getting the nod in a meaningless regular season finale, but he won't even get a jersey as the Saints have locked up a No. 1 seed.
In 15 games this season, Brees threw for 3992 yards and 32 touchdowns as well as four rushing touchdowns.
