Broncos' Phillip Lindsay to undergo surgery for 'serious' wrist injury
Denver Broncos running back Phillip Lindsay will undergo season-ending wrist surgery, head coach Vance Joseph confirmed.
The injury is "serious," per Joseph, and reportedly expected to sideline Lindsay 4-6 months. It's a disappointing end to what was a sensational rookie campaign, but Lindsay should be back in time for training camp.
Lindsay averaged 13.7 FanDuel points over 15 games in his first NFL season. He rushed for 1,037 yards and 9 touchdowns on 192 attempts and caught 35 passes for 241 yards and another touchdown on 47 targets.
