Pittsburgh Steelers running back James Conner (ankle) has officially been ruled out for Week 16 against the New Orleans Saints.
This was the expectation after Conner didn't do anything at practice all week and admitted he wasn't ready to return. Jaylen Samuels will carry the load for a third straight game out of the Steelers' backfield.
Conner was averaging 20.1 FanDuel points over 12 games before the injury, with 201 carries for 909 yards and 12 touchdowns and 52 receptions (68 targets) for 467 yards and 1 touchdown.
