Devonta Freeman (groin, injured reserve) officially done for Falcons in 2018
Atlanta Falcons running back Devonta Freeman (groin, injured reserve) will not return this season, per head coach Dan Quinn.
Quinn left the door open for Freeman to return a couple weeks ago, but it never seemed likely. The 26-year-old back has played a total of 16 games over the past two seasons. Tevin Coleman will be backed up by Brian Hill and practice squad call-up Jeremy Langford over the final two games. The Falcons visit the Carolina Panthers in Week 16.
Freeman averaged 5.8 FanDuel points in two appearances this season, with 14 carries for 68 yards and 5 catches for 23 yards on 7 targets.
