Patrick Mahomes posts lowest passing yardage total of season as Chiefs lose late lead
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes completed 24-of-34 passes for 243 yards and 2 touchdowns in Thursday's 28-29 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers.
Mahomes got the scoring started with an incredible touchdown pass to Demarcus Robinson in which he scrambled and fought off a Chargers defender before finding Robinson in the endzone for a 5 yard pass. He followed that up with another 1st quarter touchdown pass to Darrel Williams before being kept out of the end zone for the remainder of the evening. 243 passing yards being a career low is still quite impressive, but Mahomes proved that he may be human after all.
numberFire's models projected Mahomes for 25.1 FanDuel points and he fell shy of that mark with 18.0 on Thursday night.
