Eric Berry to reportedly be on 'pitch count' for Chiefs Thursday
Kansas City Chiefs defensive back Eric Berry (heel) will be on a "pitch count" versus the Los Angeles Chargers on Thursday, reports Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Berry will not be pitching on Thursday night, but he will be back in the defensive outfield for the first time since Week 1 of last season, so it's no surprise that the Chiefs want to ease him back into things. Even in limited fashion, Berry should provide a boost for Kansas City's porous pass defense.
The Chiefs D/ST is 20th in numberFire's Week 15 fantasy rankings.
