Eagles put Corey Clement (knee) on injured reserve

Philadelphia Eagles running back Corey Clement has been placed on injured reserve with a knee sprain.

What It Means:

The injury isn't too severe, compared to other season-enders, but the Eagles want to maximize their roster over the final three weeks of the season with their playoff hopes not completely dashed yet. Clement topped out at 85 yards from scrimmage this season (Week 2). Darren Sproles and Wendell Smallwood will split change-of-pace duties out of the backfield for the Eagles with Clement now done for the year.

The second-year undrafted free agent averaged 6.4 FanDuel points in 11 games this season, with 68 rushes for 259 yards and 2 touchdowns and 22 receptions (25 targets) for 192 yards.
