Giants do not activate Jonathan Stewart from injured reserve, ending his season
New York Giants running back Jonathan Stewart has not been activated from the injured reserve list.
What It Means:
The veteran's season is now over. When the 31-year-old was signed in the offseason, many were confused as to his role with the addition of Saquon Barkley. His release after this season seems to be a near-certainty.
In three games this season, Stewart had just six carries for 17 yards.
