Washington Redskins quarterback Alex Smith's broken leg injury could be career-ending, says ESPN's Dianna Russini.
Smith is reportedly dealing with an infection in his leg as a result of the multiple surgeries he's undergone, and at the age of 34 years old, a swift recovery could be a longshot.
In nine-plus games this season, Smith threw for 2,180 yards with 10 touchdowns and five interceptions. He also added 168 yards and a score on the ground.
