Cowboys aren't ruling out Tony Romo just yet
The Dallas Cowboys are holding off on placing quarterback Tony Romo (collarbone) on injured reserve in case they make a run at the NFC East title.
A playoff berth for Dallas is extremely unlikely, but the 3-8 Cowboys apparently plan to indulge themselves for at least Week 13. A loss to Washington on Monday night would end what little chance the Cowboys had at winning the division. We give Dallas a 3.1 percent chance of making the playoffs.
Among the 40 quarterbacks with at least 100 drop backs in 2015, Romo's -4.80 Passing Net Expected Points (NEP) rank 34th. His -0.04 Passing NEP per play ranks 36th among these players.
