Saints' Michael Thomas not expected to be shadowed Thursday
New Orleans Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas is not expected to be shadowed by Dallas Cowboys defensive back Byron Jones on Thursday night, according to Jon Machota of the Dallas News.
What It Means:
Machota tweets that Jones "isn't expected to travel" with Thomas, adding that opposing quarterbacks have a 67.4 rating versus the Cowboys' top corner this season. This isn't a surprise, as Jones almost exclusively covers the right side, while the Saints move Thomas around on offense. He will likely be hungry after finishing with a season-low 38 receiving yards on Thanksgiving.
