Patriots sign wide receiver Damaris Johnson
The New England Patriots signed wide receiver Damaris Johnson.
The ex-member of the Philadelphia Eagles and Houston Texans spent the first three months of the season on the street. He could provide help in the slot and should immediately slide in on special teams. Even with the Patriots decimated at wideout, Johnson is unlikely to come into fantasy value.
In 2014, Johnson posted 20.39 Reception Net Expected Points (NEP) on 49 targets, with his 0.42 Reception NEP per play ranking 88th among the 92 receivers with at least 49 targets in that season.
