Ryan Fitzpatrick loses starting job in Tampa Bay

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick has been replaced as the starter for Week 12 versus the San Francisco 49ers.

What It Means:

Fitzpatrick went 12-of-16 for 167 yards and 3 interceptions before being benched for Jameis Winston in the Bucs' 38-35 loss to the New York Giants on Sunday, so this doesn't come as much of a surprise. The soon-to-be 35-year-old veteran threw 7 interceptions over the past 2.5 games. This is the fourth time Tampa Bay has switched starting quarterbacks this season.

Fitzpatrick is averaging 22.2 FanDuel points in eight games this season, on 295.8 passing yards (66.7 completion percentage) with 17 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. He's also picked up 152 rushing yards and 2 scores.
