Mark Sanchez

Washington expected to sign Mark Sanchez

Free agent quarterback Mark Sanchez will sign with the Washington Redskins.

What It Means:

Sanchez has not played since 2016, when he threw 18 passes for the Dallas Cowboys. He will presumably backup Colt McCoy, who is replacing the injured Alex Smith.

In 77 games, he has completed just 56.7% of his passes, averaged 6.7 yards per pass and thrown 86 touchdowns with 86 interceptions.
