Jordan Reed racks up 98 yards on eight catches for Washington

Washington Redskins tight end Jordan Reed caught 8-of-9 targets for 98 yards Week 12 against the New York Giants.

What It Means:

Reed started terribly with three penalties in the first half, but he redeemed himself with several chunk gains, including a big catch to close out the game on an important third down in the fourth quarter. Reed was tackled inside the five-yard line late in the second quarter, but he failed to find the end zone for the second game in a row after scoring five touchdowns over a three-game span. Even with DeSean Jackson back, Reed keeps producing.

Reed turned his nine targets into 5.51 Reception Net Expected Points (NEP). Among tight ends with at least 30 targets, Reed entered the week ranked 15th in Reception NEP per target. Reed gets a mouth-watering matchup in Week 13 as the Redskins take on the Dallas Cowboys, who rank 29th in Adjusted Defensive Passing NEP per play.
