Stefon Diggs (ribs) officially out for Vikings versus Lions, Laquon Treadwell to start
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Stefon Diggs (ribs) is inactive for Week 9 against the Detroit Lions.
Diggs suffered the injury late in last Sunday night's loss to the New Orleans Saints and the absence doesn't come as a surprise after he missed practice all week. The 24-year-old wideout should be good to go coming out of the Vikings' Week 10 bye. Laquon Treadwell will start opposite Adam Thielen for today's NFC North matchup in Detroit. Kyle Rudolph could also see a few more targets.
Diggs is averaging 14.7 FanDuel points in eight games, with 58 catches (85 targets) for 587 yards and 4 touchdowns this season. He enters Week 9 as the WR20 in numberFire's season-long fantasy rankings.
