Devonta Freeman officially inactive for Falcons Week 12
Atlanta Falcons running back Devonta Freeman is officially inactive Week 12 against the Minnesota Vikings, according to D. Orlando Ledbetter.
Ledebetter noted that Freeman has been cleared to run, meaning this may only be a one-week absence. Tevin Coleman will start in Freeman's place.
Coleman finds himself in a positive position with thumping safety Harrison Smith out for the Vikings. Minnesota entered the week ranked 18th in Adjusted Defensive Rushing Net Expected Points per play, but Smith's absence makes this a plus matchup. Our projections have Coleman at 62 rushing yards and 0.58 touchdowns with 4 receptions for 33 yards.
