Marshawn Lynch (groin) placed on Raiders' injured reserve

Oakland Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch (groin) has been placed on injured reserve.

What It Means:

Lynch will be out until at least Week 16 for a Christmas Eve matchup against the Denver Broncos. However, it's possible the 32-year-old back has played his last down in Oakland, as he is set to become a free agent this offseason. Retirement is also a strong possibility. Doug Martin will take over on early downs, while Jalen Richard and perhaps DeAndre Washington could also be involved.

Lynch averaged 11.9 FanDuel points in six games, with 90 carries for 376 yards and 3 touchdowns, as well as 15 catches (20 targets) for another 84 yards.
