Glazer: Bears expect Alshon Jeffery & Matt Forte to play
The Chicago Bears expect both wide receiver Alshon Jeffery (groin, shoulder) and running back Matt Forte (knee) to play Thursday night against the Packers, FOX Sports' Jay Glazer reported.
Despite playing in only five games so far this year, Jeffery leads the Bears with 48.18 Reception Net Expected Points (NEP). With Martellus Bennett out, having Jeffery in the lineup would be huge for the Bears.
Forte isn't having his best year, trailing Jeremy Langford in both Rushing NEP per carry and Reception NEP per target, but he is healthy and should be in for a big workload.
