Adrian Peterson dominates Washington backfield work again in win
Washington Redskins running back Adrian Peterson rushed 24 times for 99 yards and caught 1 pass (2 targets) for 8 yards in a 20-17, Week 7 win over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.
After a 4-carry Week 5 before Washington's bye, Peterson has racked up 41 rush attempts for 196 yards (4.8 yards per carry) over the past two games. Expect a similar workload for the 33-year-old veteran in Week 8 versus the New York Giants if Chris Thompson (ribs, knee) remains out.
Peterson scored 11.2 FanDuel points in Week 7. He's averaging 13.0 FanDuel points per game, with 101 carries for 438 yards and 3 touchdowns, as well as 8 receptions for 144 yards on 12 targets.
