Denver Broncos running back Royce Freeman (ankle) is day-to-day, head coach Vance Joseph said.
That seemingly contradicts a report from NFL Network's Ian Rapoport that Freeman is dealing with a high-ankle sprain. More details should be made available after the rookie undergoes an MRI. He rushed 13 times for 37 yards and a touchdown in the Broncos' beatdown of the Arizona Cardinals on Thursday night.
Freeman is averaging 8.4 FanDuel points through seven games, with 309 rush yards and 4 touchdowns, and another 21 yards on 4 catches (6 targets).
