Cardinals' Josh Rosen (toe) in walking boot, undergoing MRI

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Josh Rosen is in a walking boot after injuring his toe on the team's last offensive drive in Thursday night's 45-10 loss to the Denver Broncos.

What It Means:

Rosen will receive an MRI but David J. Chao, MD (@ProFootballDoc) tweeted that it's "likely turf toe" and "should not be a huge deal." The 10th overall pick was abysmal in Thursday's loss, going 21-of-39 passes for 194 yards with 1 touchdown and 3 interceptions, 2 of which were returned for touchdowns. He also lost 2 fumbles. In related news, the Cardinals fired Mike McCoy on Friday morning and promoted Byron Leftwich to replace him as their new offensive coordinator.

Through his first three starts, Rosen is averaging 196.7 passing yards per game on a 55.0 completion percentage with 3 touchdowns and 5 interceptions.
