Matt Bryant (hamstring) will not play for Falcons Week 7
Atlanta Falcons kicker Matt Bryant will not play against the New York Giants in Week 7 due to a hamstring strain, head coach Dan Quinn said.
Bryant suffered the injury during Sunday's win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, in which he converted all 6 of his kick attempts, including a 57-yarder late in the fourth quarter. Quinn indicated Giorgio Tavecchio will fill in at kicker Week 7. The Falcons are on bye in Week 8.
Bryant is averaging 8.7 FanDuel points per game this season. He is 9-for-9 on field goals and 16-for-17 on extra points.
