Falcons' Calvin Ridley reportedly only has bone bruise in ankle
Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Calvin Ridley (ankle) has been diagnosed with a bone bruise, reports Vaughn McClure ofESPN.com.
Ridley could potentially play versus the New York Giants on Monday night in Week 7, but it's also possible the Falcons decide to rest him through their bye in Week 8 to ensure a proper and full recovery. Head coach Dan Quinn is "hopeful" Ridley will be available versus the Giants. The first-round pick caught 3 passes on 3 targets for 47 yards Sunday before exiting.
Ridley is averaging 6.2 FanDuel points per game this season, with 22 receptions for 349 yards and 6 touchdowns on 29 targets.
