Baker Mayfield (ankle) expected to play Week 7 from Cleveland
Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield is expected to play in Week 7 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, despite suffering an ankle injury on Sunday.
What It Means:
Mayfield rolled his ankle in a loss against the Los Angeles Chargers and will get treatment for a sprain over the course of the week, per NFL.com's Ian Rapoport. He struggled in the game and completed just 22 of his 46 throws for 238 yards.
Mayfield scored 14.3 FanDuel points on Sunday, ranking 19th among quarterbacks in Week 6.
