Sean McDermott: Josh Allen shouldering load for Bills 'unrealistic'
Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen will not be asked to do everything for the offense, head coach Sean McDermott said.
"To put too much on a young quarterback’s shoulders...to go out and win the game, that is a little unrealistic," McDermott said. "We’ve got to make sure that we put a good plan in place every week that gives us a chance to win." Allen only dropped back on 34.4 percent of plays in the Bills' Week 5 victory over the Tennessee Titans, the lowest rate in any NFL game this season. Expect another minimalized passing approach versus the Houston Texans on Sunday.
Allen is currently the QB20 in numberFire's Week 6 fantasy rankings. We expect him to turn in 16.6 FanDuel points at a cost of $6,400. He is averaging 14.2 FanDuel points in four starts this season.
