Broncos' Emmanuel Sanders to be inactive against Bears
Denver Broncos wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders will be inactive for Week 11 against the Chicago Bears.
The Broncos will lean heavily on Demaryius Thomas and the running game, with some combination of Bennie Fowler, Andre Caldwell, and Cody Latimer behind Thomas. They also have three tight ends capable of boosting the passing game. Sanders (finger, ankle) didn't look good in pre-game warmups and the medical staff decided to sit him. He figures to return for Week 12 against the Patriots.
Sanders has generated 0.68 Reception Net Expected Points per play this season, good for 34th among wide receivers with at least 40 targets through Week 10.
