Denver Broncos tight end Jake Butt is out for the remainder of the season after tearing his ACL in Thursday's practice.
Butt has now suffered an ACL tear 2 years in a row, after the injury forced him to miss all of his rookie season in 2017. The latest injury happened on a non-contact play in Thursday's practice. His absence leaves Jeff Heuerman and Matt LaCosse as the only tight ends on the Broncos roster.
Through 3 games, Butt caught 8-of-12 targets for 85 yards and 0 touchdowns.
